Long long ago, I was living in my village. I was around 12 years and matured enough to do the naughty stuff. Every morning, I get up and perform morning activities. I had summer leave. At the very beginning of the summer leave, I plan all my activities for the summer and list out all my regular things to do. There is one activity that I never expect. That activity involves a mango tree and me.
The mango tree was near to my home. It was quite big, and I cannot climb, or I was scared of climbing. The mango tree was kind enough to understand this. So due to gravity, the mangoes hang around near the ground where one can pick the mango fruits and eat. Now, let me move back to my 12 years to explain that morning.
Now 12 years old is writing this story. Here it goes.
This morning I finished all my activities, including stealing biscuits from my mom’s repository. Also, somehow, I like cookies swimming in my coffee and gallop into my stomach. Great feeling. After this, I played cricket with my friends and became tired. I needed a thirsty juice, luckily we were unfortunate enough not to reach coke or Pepsi and drink those crappy things. Thanks to my poorness.
Come to the point, I wanted to eat mangoes and went straight to the mango tree. It was still early morning, and my brother and another friend not yet explored their sights on mangoes. It was heavy competition. When I go to a mango tree, I don’t pluck the mango fruits and eat. I stand near the tree and wait for a couple of minutes. I observe which one is having high quality with intense color. The good mangoes will be with orange and reddish tones. My eyes can pick a mango out of 1000 and still get a tasty mango for myself. I don’t know how this process works.
Then I go near the mango and touch and feel. I feel the mango and just kiss it. Then open my mouth and eat the mango fruit without cutting it from the tree. The mango juice would be excellent, and I eat all the mango and leave the mango nuts as it is. This mango would be my signature for that day, and I eat only one mango like that, and I don’t touch the remaining mangoes even many mango fruits are hanging. This one fruit gives me a fantastic internal feeling, and I am satisfied with the day. There was simplicity and innovation in eating that mango. After this activity, I go back and don’t worry about mangoes for the rest of the day.
Now, I am back to now, and here were are. Why am I telling this? The world is full of distraction, and there is no simplicity and innovation in our activities. If we choose eating one mango and eat with our soul, that is enough for the day! How about choosing one action and enjoy it. It can be eating mango or doing a mini project. This action would give you power for the day!
